Our Prosecutor's Office has established the Judicial Protection Center to facilitate the connection between investigation, public prosecution, and enforcement of resources, ensuring comprehensive support for individuals, their families, and local communities. The center serves as a bridge to society's policy systems, including health and welfare, and connects individuals to local social and political resources. By offering practical protection and case management services, the center aims to reduce the risk of tragedies and crimes, promoting safety and well-being.
The Judicial Protection Center operates in accordance with the Senior Citizens Welfare Act and the Protection of Children and Youth Welfare and Rights Act, prioritizing the protection of the rights of children and senior citizens. Additionally, it focuses on cases involving individuals at high risk of suicide, those with mental illnesses, and those in need of social assistance.
The establishment of the Judicial Protection Center is not only a crucial step in implementing the spirit of judicial protection but also demonstrates a more compassionate and human-centered approach to justice. By meeting the needs of vulnerable populations, the center reflects the judiciary's commitment to supporting society's most at-risk members, ensuring that they receive the protection and care they deserve.
